Janitor for our Norlandia Preschools in Helsingborg – a handy and caring fixer!

Are you a handy person who enjoys keeping things in order and creating a safe and pleasant environment for children and educators? We are now looking for a janitor for our preschool who can assist us with everything from minor repairs to gardening and general maintenance.

The work involves four preschools in the Helsingborg area.

Your responsibilities:

• Maintenance of yards and green areas (mowing grass, weeding, sanding and shoveling as needed).
• Minor repairs and maintenance of the property.
• Assembly and relocation of furniture as needed.
• Ensuring that our premises and outdoor environments are safe and pleasant for children and staff.
• Contact with external craftsmen for larger jobs.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is practical and has experience in similar work.
• Has an eye for what needs to be fixed and takes initiative.
• Enjoys working in an environment with children and educators.
• Is responsible, meticulous, and service-oriented.
• Can work both independently and in collaboration with others.
• Has a driver's license/car as it involves four preschools.

Additional information:

• Employment type: Temporary until 20251231.
• Scope: 60%.
• Working hours: By agreement.
• Start date: As soon as possible.

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Upon employment, a criminal record extract is required.

If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only occur after verification of the work permit, as required by the Aliens Ordinance.
